Dr. Allen Williams, Ph.D.
Dr. Allen Williams is a sixth-generation family farmer and a founding partner of Understanding Ag, LLC, the Soil Health Academy, and Regenified, LLC. He is renowned globally as a leading expert in regenerative agriculture, with a particular focus on grass-fed beef production and soil health. His extensive experience includes consulting with thousands of farmers and ranchers around the world, managing operations ranging from a few acres to over two million acres.

Dr. Williams has been prominently featured in various film and documentary series, including the Carbon Nation film series, Soil Carbon Cowboys, the Roots So Deep documentary series, the Dr. Oz show, A Regenerative Secret, the Farmer’s Footprint film series, the Sacred Cow film series, TedX Boston, and COP28. He is a prolific author, having written over 400 articles on regenerative agriculture and related topics.

With a Ph.D. in Livestock Genetics from Louisiana State University and both an M.S. and B.S. in Animal Science from Clemson University, Dr. Williams also has a strong academic background. He has previously served as a faculty member at Louisiana Tech University and Mississippi State University. Throughout his career, he has pioneered many early regenerative grazing protocols and forage finishing techniques, making significant contributions to the field. Dr. Williams is also a highly sought-after speaker at conferences worldwide, sharing his knowledge and expertise to promote regenerative agricultural practices.
Chris Williams
Born and raised on family farms across Mississippi and Alabama, Christopher Williams brings a lifetime of agricultural experience and a deep passion for regenerative farming practices to his role as General Manager at Etta Hills Farm. His expertise spans a wide range of livestock management, including cattle, pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, and turkeys, which he oversees with a commitment to regeneration and eco-conscious methods.

A proud alumnus of Mississippi State University, Christopher holds a degree in Business Information Systems. His education, blending technological savvy with business acumen, has equipped him to lead Etta Hills Farm towards innovative practices that honor nature and nurture the community. Under his leadership, the farm has not only thrived but has also become a beacon of regenerative agricultural practices in the region.

Christopher is the founder of the Regenerative Ag Club at MSU, which under his guidance, has expanded nationally (Regenerative Agriculture Collegiate Program) in collaboration with Kiss The Ground, spreading awareness and adoption of regenerative farming methods across educational institutions.

Beyond his agricultural commitments, Christopher serves as a private pilot, a certified firefighter, and a skilled drone pilot for search & rescue operations with the Central Oktibbeha Fire Department, Sturgis Fire Department, & Lafayette County Fire Department. His diverse skills and community service roles highlight his dedication to both local and global well-being.
